Before committing to dispute resolution full time, Principal, Connie Rakowsky had a successful legal career as a partner at Orr and Reno for 27 years, where she handled sophisticated chapter 11 bankruptcy and troubled debt as well as business and commercial matters. She was an early adapter to mediation practices, having seen the shortcomings of the advocacy process, inside and outside the courtroom.

Connie always made time to mediate even while practicing law or, on vacation days, while running the legal aid program, LARC.She estimates that she’s mediated more than 200 cases since 2008.
